Perspective / Studio note
The space between things.
Why what we leave out matters as much as what we put in.

A note from lab.
A composition begins with a decision about space. Before choosing a typeface or a colour, we ask where the eye should land and where it should rest.
Negative space gives an idea room to become clear. In an interface, that can mean fewer competing actions. In an identity, it can mean a mark with enough room to stand on its own.
Our starting point is simple: remove what does not help. Then make what remains worth looking at.
Next: Thinking through materials.
