Process / Studio note
Thinking through materials.
Reflections, textures, and the questions that start an experiment.

A note from lab.
A reflection changes with your position. An object can stay completely still while the image of it keeps moving. That small observation is enough to begin a study.
We use material experiments to test a visual language before it becomes a system. A close crop might suggest a layout. A sharp highlight might become a rule.
The purpose is not to find an effect and repeat it. It is to follow a promising observation until it becomes a useful idea.
